Bridgeport Military Academy

Please read the information below before beginning the application process. These policies are effective for the Bridgeport Military Academy.
Directions for completing applications:
  • An application must be submitted for each student applying.
  • You MUST notify us if there is a change in address or phone number.
  • If we are unable to contact you by phone, e-mail or home address, we will go to the next applicant on the waiting list.
  • Attempts to submit multiple applications for one child will cause ineligibility for the lottery.

Deadlines: The deadline for applying online is February 25th, 2022 (11:59 pm.)

Eligible Residents: Students residing within the City of Bridgeport, CT are eligible to apply for a seat in the programs at Bridgeport Military Academy.

Students who are not Bridgeport residents may also apply but must also submit an application through "Open Choice". The application process will not be complete until both this online application and the Open Choice application are submitted. The "Open Choice" application is attached. Please download, complete, and submit to address on the bottom of the Open Choice application by February 25, 2022. The application must be received by "open choice" by February 25, 2022.

Entrance Requirements:
To be eligible for a seat at Bridgeport Military Academy for the 2022-2023 school year, the applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Completed application.
  • Acceptance into the lottery. Please note that by submitting an application, it does not guarantee acceptance into the school or program.
  • Upon acceptance, I understand that my child, if accepted to Bridgeport Military Academy, is required to attend a New Student Summer Orientation Session, usually held the second or third week in July. Attendance and successful completion of the Orientation Session is mandatory. Failure to attend or successfully complete New Student Summer Orientation will result in my child's registration at Bridgeport Military Academy being canceled.
